This video is from March 8th, right after two months of solid marathon training in Kenya and before I had my foot injury and got sick.

    Holy Smokes Reid!! You sure are fit and ready to run!!! Conditions look pretty good for Sunday. Here’s hoping the cloud cover shows up and the rain doesn’t! At least not pelting rain. I sent an email to the address listed on this blog when I mistakenly thought the marathon was last week. Conditions then looked a bit better but I bet the extra time was good for your cold and foot issues to improve. If you don’t have time to check out my email, my advice, can be summed up with “Don’t select white shorts on Sunday and, if you are on pace for a PB stay away from the port-a-potties!” Know you have a Winnipeg contingent of proud supporters cheering you on!! Be brave and run like snot!! Annette

    reid ,i think you knew going into this race you werent very fit..you never seemed confident to me with any of your comments leading up to it. when are you going to start to race ALOT more??? you are never RACE FIT.get on the road circuit,make some money and get your self race fit..just like the guys in the 70’s/80’s/90’s did..and look what they accomplished .
