Heads Will Roll

Don’t expect to see me in much TV coverage as the cameras will be concentrating on the leaders.  I’m ranked about 95th out of 100.  Expect me to improve on that ranking.

I’ve been in Berlin for a few days now doing my final preparations for the race.  We’re lucky to have a nice running park right by the hotel and we’re only 200m from the race course.  Yesterday we got onto the course at the 2.5km mark and ran the whole 10km loop (X 4 for the race + a 2.2km addition on the last loop).  The course is FLAT.  Quite a few turns but in general looks very fast.  The temp here today is 31C although it’s supposed to cool down for the weekend.

To watch the marathon on Saturday morning you can tune into www.cbc.ca/sports in Canada and www.UniversalSports.com in the states.  The coverage starts at 5:35am.  www.flotrack.org will likely have some post-race coverage as well.
