Road To London
December 2012 update: Hopefully a final cut version will be available for purchase on DVD by the end of the month.
In the Spring of 2011 a neighbour of mine, Paul Trebilcock, approached me about doing a little video about my training. Once Paul got a bunch of footage he decided to make a documentary about my training and what it takes to get to the Olympic Marathon. He has shot many workouts, many races, training in Kenya, training in Flagstaff and interviewed many other runners, coaches, trainers and friends. Yes, he has a ton of footage. Paul works full-time at McMaster University, has a wife and two daughters and is doing this project as a hobby and learning as he goes (learning pretty fast too!). It’s been great having Paul around because he is a runner (ultra-marathoner) who ‘gets it’ and an all-around good guy.
Here are the trailers.

I wish you all the best in London. It s so exciting for us all.
Dear Reid,
I was one proud Canadian today as I watched you, Dylan, and Eric represent our country with pride. You guys kicked some serious ass and made my trip to London a total success that i will remember for a long time. The three of you certainly made our country proud and continue to inspire runners like me who struggle to break 3:30. Great job to all three of you!!
Congratulations on your remarkable achievement.
